Subscriptions collect a lot of personal data, and building your own spreadsheet is a hassle. These are the tools anyone serious about their money needs — without losing an arm in money or data.

Get started

Nothing to sign up for. A few taps to set it up, and you can skip those too.

The app on a phone: this month’s money coming in on the left, flowing out to rent, groceries, transport and cards on the right, with what is left over at the bottom.

What’s in it

How it works

  1. Say what comes in and what goes out.

Your pay, the rent, the phone bill, the card. A name and an amount is enough.

  2. See where it all goes.

The chart draws every amount at once, so what is left over is a picture rather than a sum you do yourself.

  3. See when your debts end.

Say what’s left on a card or a loan and what you pay. It works out the month you’re finished.

Put it on your phone

It works in any browser, but on your home screen it opens like an app and works without a connection. It is also safer there: a phone can clear a website’s saved numbers if you don’t visit for a while, and it keeps an app’s.

On iPhone (Safari)

  1. Tap the Share button in the toolbar.
  2. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
  3. Tap “Add” in the top corner.

On Android (Chrome)

  1. Tap the menu in the top corner.
  2. Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app.”
  3. Tap “Add” or “Install” to confirm.

About

I’m Yarid Asher. I have studied Finance and was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs for 2 years. I have seen Private Wealth Management closely. I see the patterns and some tools are at the absolute base of any money strategy. I want to make those tools available to everyone for free. That’s why this site doesn’t have ads, sign ups and accounts, or payments. Whatever your path, everyone should at least have a compass.
